Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for supporting the Hwa Cha Yang Foundation. Your generosity creates bespoke, luxury wigs for women battling cancer—and we begin fulfilling your donation almost immediately. To ensure fairness and clarity, please review our refund and cancellation guidelines below.

 

 

 

1. Scope

 

This policy applies to all monetary donations made through our website or authorized fundraising channels. In-kind donations (hair bundles, product gifts) are non-refundable once received.

 

2. Refund Eligibility Window

  • Full Refund: You may request a full refund of your donation within 6 hours of your transaction.
  • No Refunds After 6 Hours: Because we begin sourcing and processing wig materials immediately, no refunds can be issued for requests received more than 6 hours after the original donation.

 

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the 6-hour window:

  1. Email us at refunds@hcxyfoundation.org
  2. Include your full name, date of donation, transaction ID, and a brief reason for your request.
  3. We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 24 hours.

4. Processing Time

  • Once a valid request is received, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued.

5. Exceptions & Special Circumstances

  • Technical Errors: If a double-charge or system error occurs, contact us immediately. We will investigate and correct any billing mistakes outside the standard 6-hour window.
  • Corporate Partnerships: Customized sponsorship packages may have separate terms; please refer to your signed agreement or contact your Partnership Manager directly.

6. Tax & Donation Considerations

  • All donations to the Hwa Cha Yang Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • If you receive a refund, your tax receipt will be adjusted accordingly.
