A 501(c)(3) nonprofit honoring matriarch Hwa Cha Yang’s legacy by creating custom, 100% human-hair wigs for women battling cancer. We partner with Alanna Hair and hair donors worldwide to restore confidence and self-love.

2. How does my donation help?

Every gift underwrites a stage in our wig-making process—from foundational cap materials to full wig sponsorship. Your donation also funds personal touches (handwritten letters, video thank-yous, anniversary updates) that amplify impact.

3. What are your giving tiers and benefits?

We offer seven self-love tiers, from Self-Love Spark ($25) to Crowning Confidence ($1,480). Each level corresponds to a specific stage of wig production and unlocks exclusive perks (badges, tote bags, virtual workshops, design-day invites, press mentions, naming rights). 4. How do I make a donation?

Click the Donate Now button at the top of any page (or scroll to our tier cards). Select your tier (e.g. “Golden Glow – $100”), complete the form, and submit. You’ll receive an immediate confirmation email.

5. Can I fully sponsor a wig?

Yes! The Crowning Confidence tier at $1,480 covers the full cost of one custom wig under current tariff laws. Sponsors receive the highest-level perks, including naming rights and press mentions.

6. What is your refund policy?

We begin sourcing materials immediately. You may request a full refund within 6 hours of your donation by emailing refunds@hcyfoundation.com with your transaction details. No refunds after 6 hours.

7. When will my custom wig ship?

We ship wigs twice a year on July 31 and December 15. Donations received by June 1 ship in July; those received by November 1 ship in December. You’ll get tracking info 1–2 weeks before shipment.

8. When do donor perks ship?

Every donor incentive (T-shirt, luxury gift, badge, mini-kit) is processed within 24–48 hours of your donation.

Domestic (U.S.): 3–7 business days
International: 7–14 business days
You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your incentive package ships.

9. Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. The Hwa Cha Yang Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3). You will receive a tax receipt via email immediately after donating.

10. How do corporate partnerships work?

We offer two tracks:

Cash Investment ($5,000+): Funds multiple wigs plus branding, press, and event perks.
In-Kind Hair Donations: Accredited hair companies can donate 100% human-hair bundles and receive co-branding, impact reporting, and our Artisan’s Choice badge.

11. How do I donate hair in kind?

Fill out our In-Kind Donation form, ship your ethically sourced, 100% human-hair bundles per our guidelines, and we’ll transform them into confidence-boosting wigs. We’ll feature your brand on each wig you help create.

12. Can I volunteer or host a fundraiser?

Absolutely! Email volunteer@hcyfoundation.com to learn about remote wig-making workshops, local self-love events, and peer-to-peer campaign toolkits.

13. How do I update my shipping address?

Email shipping@hcyfoundation.com within 24 hours of your donation with your full name, donation date, and new address. We’ll confirm any changes within one business day.

14. How can I track my donation status?

All donors receive email updates at key milestones: donation confirmation, perk shipment, pre-wig-shipment notice, and delivery. If you haven’t heard from us, please contact support@hcyfoundation.com.
